I didn’t just stop and move the turtle, I actually did so on many occasions. I also rescued turtles that were damaged by the means (but not killed) and looked after them back to Turtle you are my sunshine shirthealth. Now I take them to a wildlife recovery house because they are licensed and trained to do what I can only guess. Sea turtles are instinctively incubating for the brightest thing they can see! In the days before electricity, this would be the ocean – they often bloom at night and it reflected the star and the moon. This is why most beach-nesting turtles prohibit flashlights and why the development along these beaches is sometimes restricted.
