Amazing Spiderman series is officially scrubbed by Sony Amazing Spider-Man renew your vowsshirt. Sony was so desperate about creating a Cinematic Universe around Spiderman. That they made so many promises so quickly and have put their full faith in Marc Webb. Although he is a greater Director and did a splendid job with both Amazing Spiderman 1 and 2 he did some serious damage to the franchise and every move Sony could make with the franchise was shoved because of continuity errors! Amazing Spiderman 2 wasn’t considered as a huge hit by Sony and they all felt like they need a fresh start.
Will The Amazing Spider-Man 3 happen?
Andrew Garfield was the best incarnation of Spiderman onscreen yet but neither Sony nor Marvel had any way to deal with the damage. So they had to let him go. Marvel proposed this deal between Sony and Marvel that although the franchise stays under Sony it will be under the supervision of Marvel and this way both can use the character in Avengers and also Standalone Spiderman movies. So they cast an exceptional upcoming actor Tom Holland (Age 19) to play the role of Peter Parker that is in high school in upcoming Civil War and then in 2017 they will make a new Spiderman stand-alone movie starring him as Spiderman.
